Dr. Barbara Gartin coordinates the special education (SPED) program. The special education program offers a Master of Education degree in special education which can lead to Arkansas licensure in special education or in gifted education. Recently added is the Certificate Program in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Gartin is responsible for recruitment of students, advising, program reviews, admissions and record maintenance.
