Admissions
Anyone who wishes to earn graduate-level credit, whether as a degree-seeking student or as a non-degree student, must be officially admitted by the Graduate School. Applications for admission to the Graduate School must be accompanied by a $40 application fee, which is non-refundable and will not apply against the general registration fee if the applicant enrolls. Admission Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on the last 60 credit hours of attempted coursework prior to the receipt of the baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution; or
- If GPA is less than a 3.0 but at least 2.5 on the last 60 credit hours of attempted coursework, applicant may be considered for admission by special consideration, which includes satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test or Millers Analogies Test; or
- A conferred post-baccalaureate degree (excluding professional degrees) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Transcripts
Transcripts are self-managed for the admission process. It is the responsibility of those applicants who desire full graduate standing to request from each college or university which the student has previously attended two official copies of the official transcript in a sealed envelope. The sealed transcripts should be sent to the Graduate School Admissions Office along with the application for admission. The transcript of the student's academic record includes all courses, grades., and credits attempted and indication of degree(s) earned.

Deadline
The University should receive all application materials, including all official transcripts, at least one month prior to the date of registration. The deadline for consideration for Fall semester is August 1; Spring semester, December 1; Summer semester, April 1. For International students, deadlines are: Fall semester, April 1; Spring semester, by October 1; Summer semester, March 1. Earlier submission is recommended.
