Graduate Certificate in Gerontology

Across the ages: lifespan research and education
The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology is offered by the Office for Studies on Aging in cooperation with the Graduate School and is administered by the School of Continuing Education & Academic Outreach.

The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology is an interdisciplinary cohort-based program requiring 18 hours of online coursework designed to meet the need for focused study in gerontology.

Proctored, print-based exams may be required for each course. If so, the exam site must be approved by the Department of
Off-Campus Classes.

Important Note: Spring 2007 Cohort students are required to make a visit to the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 20, 2007.  The purpose of this visit is to meet with instructors and fellow cohort students, as well as advising, field placement assistance, and discussion of current topics in aging.
